What exactly are you holding on to?
What exactly are you holding on to? An idea, a person, a lifestyle, a habit, the past, your old self?
Is it worth being out of alignment, is it worth the pain, is it worth the heartache?
If you hold on too long you could possibly sicken yourself and you and I both know what happens when sickness lingers and progresses..
Is what you’re holding onto worth your well-being and… your LIFE?
Bring yourself to this state of self awareness and ask yourself,
Why am I holding on?
One of the most important lessons I have learned through my journey is the importance of LETTING GO.
I shift my attitude, my perception and my focus to my inner self and intentionally look for the lessons to be learned so that I can transcend any circumstance I experience.
What letting go means to me is - being able to recognize when things aren’t going MY IDEAL WAY, then choosing to be present to MY HIGHER SELF so that I can be aware of the "hidden" opportunities that await me which will grant me access to “higher grounds.” In other words: I shift my attitude, my perception and my focus to my inner self and intentionally look for the lessons to be learned so that I can transcend any circumstance I experience.
I perceive the world and humanity from a state of non attachment, meaning, I honor every individual as a Conscious Creator, as the designer of their own life with ultimate freedom to choose their own path. I absolutely, under no circumstance, hold people captive from or shame them for their desires and choices in life. I also completely honor the limitless creative process and the perfection of Universal Intelligence which contributes to my state of NON ATTACHMENT and my ability to LET GO and BE.
When it comes to relationships, no one belongs to me and I for certain do not belong to ANYONE.
We are all free.
When a relationship ends, for example a marriage or a long term companionship, yes, the transition can be difficult but it doesn’t have to be.
Your ability to honor others as their own creators who have set out to collect experiences for their own personal and spiritual growth is a specific perception I have used to accept WHAT IS and let go of WHAT WAS.
While you are in the state of attachment, while you are not permitting yourself to let go, while you are holding on in pain and most likely suffering, IS THAT REALLY LIVING?
Also, understanding a sliver of the wonders of the Universe and how life is infinitely expanding, providing new pathways every nanosecond has empowered me to BE WITH this type of change by, you guessed it…
Here is something else to consider : While you are in the state of attachment, while you are not permitting yourself to let go, while you are holding on in pain and most likely suffering, IS THAT REALLY LIVING?
Do you think it’s possible that something else EVEN BETTER awaits you on the other side of that fear?
Think about it.
When you hold on, you hold yourself back. You block your blessings. You stifle your growth. And then life passes you by and then you die.
That’s as straightforward as it gets.
Back to the original question: What exactly are you holding onto?
